The Radiation Safety Section (RSS) is responsible for the development and oversight of a comprehensive radiation safety program to ensure the safe handling, transport, use, and disposal of radiological materials, lasers, and x-ray machines. The RSS is charged with enforcement of all written directives of the Radiation Safety Committee and oversight of the safe and legal use of radioactive sources.
